Novita Arctic Wool Aran is a fluffy yarn made from 100% wool in heathered shades, used to make warm jumpers and accessories with distinctive cables or multicoloured patterns. The heathered shades add texture and colour to the knitted fabric.
Which season is it suitable for?
Suitable for colder months: the wool provides warmth, while the knitted fabric retains its stitch definition. The yarn may become softer after blocking, as some knitters have found.
Will it suit my pattern, and which needles should I use?
Check the yarn weight and tension in the specifications against your pattern; you can start with 4.5–5 mm circular needles. If your tension differs, try a different needle size. Larger needles produce a looser knitted fabric, a look some people prefer.
