Description
Product information "Seeknit Shirotake interchangeable circular needle tips – 5.00 mm / 10 cm"
The Seeknit Shirotake tips are interchangeable bamboo needle tips for knitting in the round. The interchangeable design lets you change needle size for a new project while keeping a compatible cable, for example when moving from a hat to a jumper.
Are the tips bamboo or metal?
Bamboo, not metal. For a jumper sleeve, you can start with ribbing and then move on to the main stitch pattern.
Can the tips be replaced on the cable?
Yes, you can change the tips on the cable and use them for different projects. Before choosing, check the marking on your chosen pair against the marking on your cable: needle size alone is not enough to check compatibility.
Start with the size specified in your pattern and make a tension square using your chosen yarn. For knitting in the round, take into account the total length of the needles and cable. If you are choosing accessories for your project, take a look at other Seeknit tools.
