Rowan Cotton Wool yarn blends cotton and wool for lightweight clothing for mums and babies: the yarn is breathable. The shades were selected by Erika Knight.
Is it suitable for a newborn?
Yes, the very soft yarn is suitable for clothing worn next to the skin, including a newborn’s first garments.
How should I care for it?
Hand wash finished garments. Dry them flat in the shade and do not tumble dry.
If you need a different fibre content for your next garment, compare it with the fibre content of other Rowan yarns. Use the number of balls given in the knitting pattern for your size. Start with a swatch on 4 mm circular needles and wash it, then compare the tension with that specified in the knitting pattern.
