Pro Lana Golden Socks Alpaka
Golden Socks Alpaka is a Sport-weight yarn with 390 m in a 100 g ball. Its composition of 70% alpaca and 30% polyamide combines a fine natural fibre content with added polyamide. The yarn is available in 15 colours, giving sock knitters a broad palette for pairs, stripes and small colour details.
A gauge of 28 sts per 10 cm provides a practical starting point for a gauge swatch. Use circular needles, double-pointed needles or other knitting needles in the 2.5–3 mm range, adjusting the needle size to your fabric and tension. The 390 m length gives one ball a substantial working run for sock projects and other light Sport-weight accessories.
Care instructions allow a delicate wash at 40 °C, tumble drying on low and dry cleaning. Do not bleach, and iron on a low setting up to 110 °C.
