Novita stitch markers help mark the beginning of a row and the boundaries of pattern repeats. On a hat, mark the beginning of the row; on a patterned jumper, mark the repeat boundaries so you can check the pattern section by section.
Where should you mark the beginning of the row?
Place a marker at the beginning of the row on your hat so you can see where one row ends and the next begins. This gives you a reference point for when to move on to the next row of the chart.
How do you use markers in a pattern?
Divide the pattern into repeats so you can check each section separately rather than recounting the whole row. When working lace knitting, compare the stitches between the markers with the chart before continuing.
