Novita Nalle is a soft wool and polyamide yarn for socks and clothing. The wool gives cables and stranded colourwork clear definition, while the solid colour highlights the pattern.
Is it durable enough for socks?
Yes: the polyamide adds abrasion resistance, and the ribbing is springy.
Which season is this yarn suitable for?
It is suitable for cooler weather: its natural fibre base provides warmth. Many also choose Nalle for cuffs and coloured stripes.
Will it suit my pattern, and which needles should I use?
Compare the tension and needle size in your pattern with the specifications. Knitters usually use 3–3.5 mm circular needles; if your tension does not match, choose a different size.
