Novita Aino yarn is suitable for a lofty cabled jumper if you like fluffy knitted fabric without the weight. The fibre content is baby alpaca, merino wool and polyamide; you can choose striking lace knitting or stocking stitch.
Which season is it suitable for?
For the colder months: the main fibre is very warm. If you have sensitive skin, wear the finished garment over a thin layer.
Will it suit my pattern, and which needles should I use?
It is suitable for Chunky patterns if the tension matches; start with 6 mm circular needles. Check the thickness and tension in the specifications against your pattern; if the tension differs, try another needle size.
Use the yarn requirements for your chosen pattern to work out the number of balls. Make a tension square and wash it. Hand wash and dry flat. If Aino does not match the required tension, compare the specifications of other Novita yarns.
