Mez Anchor Organic Cotton yarn is pure cotton for a summer top or an everyday jumper. It is breathable. For a muted palette, pair snow white with the shade ‘pebble’; for contrasting stripes, pair snow white with black.
Will it suit my pattern, and which needles should I use?
That depends on your tension: check the yarn thickness, stitch count and recommended needles in your pattern against the specifications. Start with 2.5–3 mm circular needles; if your tension does not match the pattern, try different needles.
Will it withstand frequent washing?
Yes, the fibre withstands frequent washing and does not felt — handy for clothes you wear regularly. Wash on a gentle cycle at 60 °C without bleach; do not tumble dry.
Use the number of balls specified in your chosen pattern for your size. Before you begin, make a tension square and wash it.
