Mayflower Glitter yarn is a viscose and polyester yarn with a subtle shimmer in the knitted fabric. It is used for festive knitwear where a delicate sheen is enough.
How does it feel to wear?
It is soft to the touch, making it suitable for garments worn close to the skin.
Which needles should you use?
Start with 2.5–3 mm circular needles. Check the Fingering weight and recommended needle size against the specifications, and the stitches per 10 cm against the pattern; if they do not match, change your needle size.
Is it suitable for occasion wear?
Yes: it can be used on its own or held together with another yarn. Stripes, cuffs and trims have a delicate sheen; it is also used to crochet small festive decorations.
