Lopi Spuni is a warm yarn made from pure merino wool for adults’ and children’s jumpers. The wool fibre is springy and gives good stitch definition, making it suitable for cables and stranded colourwork.
Does it feel scratchy?
This is soft merino wool, suitable for people of all ages.
How should I wash it, and will it shrink?
Hand wash gently in cold water. The yarn is superwash-treated; check for changes in measurements after washing before starting your project.
Will it work with my pattern, and what needles do I need?
You can use patterns for Léttlopi: the yarns are similar in thickness. Start with 4–5 mm circular needles. Check the specifications against the pattern’s requirements for stitches per 10 cm and needle size; if they differ, choose a different diameter.
