Kremke Reborn Denim UNI is a marled cotton yarn made from recycled denim that feels like soft linen. For tops, T-shirts and jumpers if you like cotton’s slightly dry texture.
Does recycled denim yarn feel scratchy?
We find that knitters consider the finished garments soft and comfortable to wear. They enjoy working with this yarn.
Is it suitable for summer garments?
Yes, cotton is breathable, so it is suitable for summer clothing.
Can it be machine washed, and will the garment shrink?
Yes, machine washing is allowed; whether the garment keeps its size depends on tension and care. Some crafters found that their garments kept their size after hand washing, while others successfully machine wash them on a cold cycle in a laundry bag.
