Hey Mama Wolf Ylva plant-dyed yarn is made from wool from Germany, spun into three plies and dyed with plant dyes. The springy wool yarn brings out textured patterns and stranded colourwork; it is used to knit jumpers and shawls.
Does it feel scratchy?
Ylva has a pronounced texture; some knitters find the yarn soft, and it becomes softer and blooms after washing.

Ylva is a Sport-weight yarn: compare the yarn weight and tension in your pattern with its specifications, and choose different needles if they do not match. For your first piece of knitting, use 3.5 mm circular needles.
