BC Garn Svala is a fine alpaca yarn with a light halo and a distinct texture: it produces airy knitted fabric for jumpers, cardigans and shawls. It can be knitted on its own, with several strands held together or alongside another yarn.
Does alpaca feel scratchy?
Many knitters find Svala very soft; the finished knitted fabric is fluffy and airy. If you have sensitive skin, wear the garment over a thin layer.
