Jauge
32 sts and 44 rows in stockinette stitch on 2.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm (after wet blocking). Needle size is approximate. If you have more stitches in 10 cm, switch to larger needles. If you have fewer stitches in 10 cm, switch to smaller needles.
Each person has their own knitting style: some knit tightly, while others knit loosely. Gauge affects the quality, appearance, and size of the item. Before starting, knit a gauge swatch in the pattern to be used for the sock. This is necessary to calculate the number of stitches and understand how the pattern will look with the chosen yarn. (For example: knit a 12 x 12 cm swatch, wash it in warm water and dry it flat. Once the swatch is dry, count the stitches in one row and the number of rows in a 10 x 10 cm square. This will be your gauge. For circular knitting, the swatch must be knitted in the round.)
Description
Using 2.5 mm double-pointed needles, cast on 60 (60) 64 (68) sts + 1 st for joining in the round with the standard cast-on method. Mark the first stitch and continue to knit in the round.
Knit ribbing (1 knit, 1 purl) in the round until it measures 4 cm in height. Continue knitting in the round as follows: 15 (15) 17 (19) knit, 31 knit according to the pattern, 14 (14) 16 (18) knit.
Continue with this division of stitches until the leg part measures 16 (17) 18 (19) cm or to the desired height. Mark your last row so you can continue the next one when you knit the heel.

Next row: slip 1 st purlwise WYIB, knit 7 (7) 8 (8), place a marker on the next st. This marks the beginning of the round.
