Construction
The turtleneck is knitted in stockinette stitch with raglan from the top down, seamlessly.
Cast on 87 (91, 95, 103, 111, 115) stitches on 3 mm needles using the classic method, after joining in the round a total of 86 (90, 94, 102, 110, 114) stitches on the needles. Mark the beginning of the round with a marker.
Knit in stockinette stitch for 40 (40, 40, 42, 42, 44) rows, in the 41st (41, 41, 43, 43, 45) row start knitting the yoke using short rows.
Knit the yoke with turning rows and make increases along the raglan lines. After finishing knitting the yoke, close the knitting in the round and continue knitting in the round in stockinette stitch, continuing to make increases along the raglan lines.
Divide the raglan line stitches into two parts for the underarms, move sleeve stitches onto waste yarn, and prepare chains of air stitches from waste yarn. Continue knitting straight to the required length and bind off stitches with a needle, imitating a cast-on edge.
For sleeves, transfer the sleeve stitches to needles, unravel the air stitch chain and add underarm stitches to sleeve stitches. Make decreases at specified intervals, knit to required length, and bind off stitches imitating the cast-on edge.
Blocage
Gently wash the garment in cool water with a special lanolin-free washing agent. Immediately after squeezing, shake the item and separate sleeves and body from inside. Lay flat on a horizontal surface, spreading sleeves and body to expected dry dimensions. During wear, the garment may stretch by 1-2 cm in length.
