Sizes

S (M, L, XL)

• Length of the garment on the back (cm): 58 (62, 66, 70)
• Circumference of the garment at the chest (cm): 90 (95, 100, 106)
• Sleeve length from the armhole (cm): 47 (49, 52, 55)
• Length of the yoke (excluding the neckline) (cm): 20 (22, 24, 26)

Matériels

• 3 (4, 4, 5) skeins of KREMKE ALPAKA SUPERFINE FINO yarn (100 g/366 m, 100% alpaca)
• Markers
• Stitch holders (waste yarn)
• Circular needles: 2.5 mm (60 cm), 2.75 mm and 3.0 mm (80 or 100 cm)
• Ciseaux
• Aiguille à tapisserie
• Pins for blocking the garment

Jauge

In stockinette stitch after washing and blocking: 26 stitches and 30 rows = 10×10 cm with 3.0 mm needles.

It’s recommended to knit a sample in stockinette stitch to check gauge as it is almost the same as with the lace pattern.

The jumper is knit in circular rows from top to bottom. The yoke is knitted with increases, then divided into sleeves and body. The body is knitted first, then the sleeves.

The neckline and yoke start on 128 (128, 144, 144) stitches on 2.5 mm circular needles, closed in the round with a row marker. Knit 20 rows in 1×1 ribbing, then join the first and last rows and transfer to 2.75 mm needles for the setup row.

The yoke is knit according to charts for each size. Empty cells in charts indicate “no stitch” and are skipped.

From row 48, switch to 3.0 mm needles and knit purl stitches as knit stitches.

Growth and Sleeve/Body Separation

After the yoke, growth is knit with turn rows and wraps to avoid holes. Stitch distribution and turn instructions vary by size.

Sleeve and body separation involves transferring sleeve stitches to waste yarn, casting on underarm stitches, and continuing the body in stockinette stitch.

Sleeves

Sleeves are knit identically, starting from transferred stitches plus raised stitches from the underarm. Decreases are worked on either side of a marker in several rows. Sleeve length is customizable before switching to ribbing.

Finishing

Hide all yarn ends. Hand wash the jumper and perform wet heat treatment with blocking to achieve the correct dimensions.
