MATÉRIAUX

• • 2 pelotes de Drops Air (65% Alpaga, 28% Polyamide, 7% Laine, 150 m/50 g) sont utilisées ensemble (300 m/100 g)
• • Aiguilles circulaires de 7 mm sur un cordon de 40 cm
• • Aiguilles doubles pointes ou circulaires de 7 mm pour tricoter le cordon i-cord et fermer le bonnet
• • Aiguille à tapisserie pour tisser les extrémités et finir

JAUGE

Jauge: 10 mailles x 16 rangs = 10 x 10 cm dans le motif principal après blocage.

TAILLE ET COUPE

Convient à un tour de tête adulte d'environ 52 à 56 cm.
Peut être porté avec ou sans visière rabattue.

I-CORD LOOP

Reduce the 5 sts to 3 and work an i-cord loop.

On 7 mm dpns or using the circ ndl as dpn:

• Next rnd – work decreases evenly so that 3 sts remain on the needle.

• Work i-cord over these 3 sts as follows: I-cord principle for 3 sts:

• Row: k1, k1, p1.

• Without turning your work, slide the sts to the other end of the needle, bring the working yarn across the back, and again work k1, k1, p1.

Repeat this i-cord row sequence until the cord measures about 16 rows or 10-11 cm.

To finish the loop, k3tog (knit 3 sts together) and fasten off. Sew the end of the cord to the beginning to form a closed loop at the top of the hat.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS, DECORATION AND CARE

Approximate dimensions before washing – width 22 cm, height 31 cm.

Approximate dimensions after washing – width 24 cm, height 31 cm.

Wash the hat in cool water. Do not wring or twist by hand. Gently press out excess water and dry the item flat on a towel in a horizontal position.

You can decorate this hat with different ornamental designs. Take a contrasting yarn and embroider any motifs you like.
